Who's Your Father?
Honor. That’s the first word I heard as I listened this morning during prayer. As I wrote the word Honor down, then the Holy Spirit said these words to me:
Honoring your father and mother makes your days long upon the earth. Occupy the earth. Do My will until I return. Keep My agenda, My mission, My purpose, My Word always as 1st place. As you seek Me, I will show you more and more. Some is for you to pray. Some is for you to speak. Some is to act. Acts of Fon. Your life is like the book of Acts. As My chosen, you are moving about the earth to spread the Gospel to the places I send you and the places all around you.
I felt prompted to look up the word acts. According to Google dictionary, acts as a verb means to take action; do something; move; proceed; make a move; react; and go ahead. It is the opposite of doing nothing! Acts as a noun means a thing done; a deed; a feat; an exploit; an achievement; effort; and accomplishment. A second noun definition for act is pretense. Some synonyms are masquerading, posing, counterfeit, and guise.
We must choose how we will ACT! Will we ACT for Jesus? Or will we ACT for Satan. We can’t be going around “acting” like someone else, if we are following Jesus Christ. We can’t be acting outside of our identity in who God made us and created us to be. Satan “acts” or poses as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Satan doesn’t have a pitchfork and horns. He is ACTING as one who wants to do good (an angel of light). He puts on a disguise to make it seem like he stands for good instead of evil. But he is the father of lies! (John 8:44).
So as we approach Father’s Day here in the USA, I have a question for you: Who’s Your Father? Now take a moment to reflect on your life. Take a moment to reflect what comes out of your mouth. Take a moment to look in the mirror. Are you seeing who God created you to be or have you decided to change yourself and be who you want to be? Do you walk around posing as someone you’re not? Do you act one way in the light and another way in the dark?
Again the question is: Who’s Your Father?
I pray that you choose Jesus Christ!
“Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy. - Matthew 6:9 CSB
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. - Matthew 7:21
Scriptures that align with what I heard Holy Spirit saying to me:
HONOR [esteem, value as precious] YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER [and be respectful to them]--this is the first commandment with a promise-- SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY HAVE A LONG LIFE ON THE EARTH. - Ephesians 6:2-3 AMP
I will go on doing what I am doing now, in order to keep those other “apostles” from having any reason for boasting and saying that they work in the same way that we do. 1Those men are not true apostles—they are false apostles, who lie about their work and disguise themselves to look like real apostles of Christ. Well, no wonder! Even Satan can disguise himself to look like an angel of light! So it is no great thing if his servants disguise themselves to look like servants of righteousness. In the end they will get exactly what their actions deserve. - 2 Corinthians 11:12-15 GNT
You are of your father the devil, and it is your will to practice the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths. - John 8:44 AMP
For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother.” - Matthew 12:50
I just love my conversations with the Lord, don’t you?
SALVATION PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and you’re not a believer, but you have a desire to be, all you have to do is openly confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
Pray this Prayer Out Loud:
Say Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died for my sins. I believe that you rose again for my justification. Right now, I receive you Jesus into my heart as my Savior, my Lord, and my King. I declare that the power of sin, Satan, hell, and the grave is broken over my life. From right now and forever, I am a child of God. I walk in the newness of life. Amen!

THIS IS FOR EVERY BELIEVER TO HAVE FREELY, just like SALVATION!
Lord, I believe I am your child. I have Your spirit living in me and now I want you to fill me to overflow with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. I receive it, just like I received my salvation. Thank you LORD, for filling me! In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Now that you have received, you will want to GROW in your new gift and use it daily! Open your mouth and begin to speak by faith. You will start it and Holy Spirit will quicken you as you open your mouth. Begin by praising the Lord saying Hallelujah over and over and then allow Holy Spirit to take over! You won’t understand and you shouldn’t try to. This is your heavenly language!
